Description

Cleansing Milk has a light formulation that is intended for gentle cleansing and makeup removal. Suitable for sensitive skin types.

It is the first step in morning and evening care and ensures that the skin is softer, moisturised and rejuvenated after application.

Cleansing Milk contains immortelle, rose, lavender hydrolsols and the exceptional, cold-pressed marula, sunflower, castor and sea buckthorn oils.

The product also contains papaya extract, which gently exfoliates the skin during cleansing and thus removes dead cells from its surface. This makes the skin even more luminous, moisturised and pleasant to the touch after cleansing. The essential oils of immortelle, lavender, geranium and Roman chamomile conjure up a wonderful, delicate floral scent.

Massage the face with cleansing milk and rinse it with lukewarm water before applying the toner. Cotton cloths may also be used for application. You will be enchanted by the texture and smoothness of the cleansing milk. The result is a silky, smooth and radiant skin.

  • Marula Oil – Marula is a tall African tree. The fruits contain the seeds from which the oil is extracted. It is a stable oil with high content of oleic acid. It also contains many phytosterols and vitamin E. Traditionally it is used for the care of dry, cracked skin and is also ideal for mature skin. As an emollient, it increases skin’s moisture as it decreases transepidermal water loss and reduces the redness of the skin.
  • Sunflower Oil is obtained from sunflower seeds and contains a large proportion of linoleic as well as oleic acid. It is a valued emollient ingredient in skin and hair care products, suitable for all skin types, especially for dry, inflamed and mature skin. It contains quite a lot of lecithin, which gives the oil its emulsifying properties, which is why it is often found in skin cleansing products.
  • Castor Oil – castor is a bushy plant with fruits in the form of a red prickly head that carries the seeds from which this natural oil is extracted. It is one of the most viscous natural oils, so it is a less common skin care ingredient and is often used in cleansers. In the cleansing milk it works as a dirt magnet and is therefore excellent for makeup removal.
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil – Sea buckthorn is a shrub with egg-shaped orange fruits. I used the oil in the form of CO2 extract from the pericarp of the sea buckthorn. Due to its exceptional beta-carotene representation, the oil is of a strong orange colour with a distinct fruity scent. This oil is credited with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and regenerative action. It is especially recommended for the care of mature skin, as it is believed to promote cell and skin renewal, which is often exposed to sunlight.
  • Hydrosols of Immortelle, roses and lavender are suitable for sensitive skin as well, which I find very important since we use milk to clean the makeup from around the eyes, which is a particularly sensitive area.
  • Glycerol is obtained by hydrolysis of fats from natural oils. It counts among the most effective and commonly used moisturisers. Glycerol represents a hygroscopic molecule with a low molecular weight, which binds water from the deeper basal layer of the epidermis into the corneal layer and increases the moistness of this layer. It also preserves the physiological function of the lipid barrier.
  • Papaya Extract – This is a water glycerol papaya extract. The cosmetically active ingredient of papaya with exfoliating action is the papain enzyme, which promotes the removal of dead epidermal cells. It is useful for all skin types, including mature skin. The skin becomes smoother and softer. It is ideal for lifeless skin and enhances the texture of dry, flaky skin. Papaya extract also acts as a moisturiser.
  • Vitamin E – is a natural tocopherol that is obtained through isolation from natural oils. I added it to the products because of its antioxidant properties that it has on the skin (it nourishes the skin, helps to retain moisture in the skin or reduces water loss, promotes cellular regeneration and increases skin elasticity), while also acting as an antioxidant for all natural oils in the product. It is therefore a cosmetically active ingredient that focuses on antioxidant and restorative function, which is consistent with the purpose of nourishing mature and dry skin.
  • Rosemary CO2 Extract – This is an extract made by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. In addition to its excellent antioxidant properties, it has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, as well as rejuvenating properties. It helps to increase the antioxidant properties of the product and prevents oil from going rancid.
  • Essential oils of Immortelle, Lavender, Geranium and Roman chamomile are suitable for sensitive skin care as well as for regeneration.
