Description

The Floral Toner with Aloe Vera is a refreshing and invigorating toner from natural and organic ingredients. It moisturises the skin, removes cleanser residues, dead skin cells and regulates the skin’s pH. This toner is formulated on the basis of the hydrosols of Immortelle, Damascus rose and Roman chamomile. It includes moisturising and antioxidant ingredients and, for their active function on mature skin, essential oils are added as well. While both, aloe vera extract and pomegranate extract, function as moisturisers, they are also antioxidants. Another of the very effective antioxidants added is the green tea extract, which functions as a calming agent and so forms an excellent synergy with the essential oil of rosemary.

In the morning and in the evening, apply the toner to a cleansed face with a cotton cloth or spray. The sensation on your skin is refreshing and moisturising. When shaken, the product produces a light foam. Due to natural extracts present, small sediments may appear at the bottom.

  • Hydrosols of Immortelle, roses and Roman camomile – I have chosen these hydrosols because they are very beneficial for mature skin. The basis and the red thread is Immortelle. It is great for the care of more demanding skin, since it accelerates blood circulation, narrows veins, and soothes redness.
  • Aloe Vera Concetrate – Aloe is a green plant with thick, fleshy leaves. The well-known aloe vera gel is actually the parenchymal tissue from the centre of the aloe leaf. Based on the effects of polysaccharides, aloe extract has excellent moisturising properties, which is why it is used for the care of very dry skin. Polysaccharides act as moisturisers, forming a thin, moisture-retaining film on the skin. This gel also has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and healing effects. In the tonic, aloe is in a form of a concentrate that is 10x more concentrated than aloe vera juice.
  • Pomegranate Extract is a glycerol extract of pomegranate pulp. It has an antioxidant function, based on the effects of flavonoids, making it ideal for protecting the skin from oxidative stress. It also works as a good moisturiser (presence of glycerine).
  • Green Tea Extract – Tea tree is an evergreen shrub or a smaller tree originating in Asia. Because of the flavonoids, tea tree extract is a great rejuvenating agent. In fact, it is one of the most effective antioxidants of natural origin. Due to the presence of caffeine, tea tree extract also works as a tonic, which results in reduced puffiness.
  • Marigold Tincture – Marigold is one of the most famous and versatile herbs with yellow or orange petals. For the tincture, only dry petals are used. Marigold extracts have a well-known anti-inflammatory and healing (accelerating wound healing) function and are therefore suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The tincture contains mainly triterpenoids and has a soothing and regenerative effect on the skin. The last is especially very welcomed in the care of mature skin.
  • Essential oils of sweet orange, Immortelle and rosemary are intended for nurturing dry and mature skin. With its ability to improve blood circulation, the essential oil of rosemary complements the tonic function of the tea tree extract.
