I’ve created Rejuvenating body oil Balance to help with stress relief, bring harmony and balance into life. And of course, to make the skin supple and silky.

The body oil is a thoughtful blend of organic cold-pressed marula, apricot kernel, baobab and sunflower oils. All oils are suitable for dry and mature skin. Known for its particularly regenerative effect, I’ve included active strawberry seed oil.  To additionally help with skin renewal, antioxidants Q10, carrot and rosemary extract and vitamin E were added.

Such balanced composition is suitable for regular daily use, even for sensitive skin. Added coconut caprylate maintains the natural moisture and contributes to the oil’s good lubricity. The body oil has an extraordinary ability of moisturising and renewing and offers effective protection against signs of premature ageing. It promotes synthesis of collagen in the skin and increases skin elasticity. It is extremely nourishing and restores the skin’s natural glow. Yet, it absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy feeling.

Gently massage a small amount of oil into the body until it is completely absorbed. Apply immediately after a shower or bath, while the skin is still damp. After use, the skin is moisturised, glowing and extremely soft. If you use it in the morning, you start your day with a feeling of peace and balance. It helps you reduce stress throughout the day. Of course, you can also use the oil before going to bed, for a restful sleep.

 

And a little tip: apply to pulse points, e.g. wrist, whenever you want to reduce anxiety and need inner strength.

  • Apricot oil – Apricot is a small tree that often grows in our gardens. The oil is obtained from the seed, which is located in the stone of the fruit. It is a versatile oil, recommended for the care of sensitive skin and as an emollient ingredient in moisturizing care products.
  • Marula Oil – Marula is a tall African tree. The fruits contain seeds from which oil is extracted. It belongs to stable oils with a high content of oleic acid. It is also high in phytosterols and vitamin E. It is traditionally used to treat dry, cracked skin. It is also ideal for mature skin. As an emollient, it increases skin moisture, as it reduces transepidermal water loss, and also reduces skin redness.
  • Coconut caprylate is a widely used moisturiser that is a natural alternative to silicones. It is of natural origin, obtained from coconut oil. It leaves a silky, soft and non-greasy feeling on the skin and increases the lubricity of emulsions.
  • Sunflower oil is obtained from sunflower seeds and contains a large proportion of linoleic and oleic acids. It is a valued emollient ingredient in skin and hair care products, suitable for all skin types, especially dry, inflamed and mature skin. It also contains quite a bit of lecithin, which gives it emulsifying properties and is often found in skin cleansing products.
  • Baobab oil – The baobab is a tall tree of the African savannas. The oil is obtained from the seeds of the fruit. It is known for its particularly rich composition of phytosterol compounds. It is a versatile vegetable oil with emollient effects. It protects the skin from water loss, gives it suppleness and smoothness. It is very suitable for the care of dry or mature skin with broken barrier function. Due to the action of phytosterol compounds, it has two more beneficial effects, namely anti-inflammatory action and regeneration of skin tissue.
  • Strawberry seed oil is one of the active oils with a high content of unsaturated fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid). It is an excellent antioxidant and absorbs well into the skin. It is recommended for the care of mature, dry and damaged skin.
  • CO2 Carrot Extract is carrot extract in jojoba oil. Carrot extract, dominated by beta-carotene, can be used as an antioxidant to protect the skin from oxidative stress. It improves the moisture and elasticity of the skin and stimulates the synthesis of sebum lipids, so it is suitable for the care of dry, mature and tired skin.
  • Coenzyme Q10 – this cosmetic ingredient is an excellent antioxidant. Coenzyme Q10 protects cell membranes from harmful radicals and premature ageing. It activates cell metabolism and is suitable for mature skin. In addition to its antioxidant action, it also has regenerative action. It limits the degradation of skin collagen, promotes the growth of healthy cells and reduces the depth of wrinkles.
  • Vitamin E – it is a natural tocopherol obtained by isolation from vegetable oils. I added it to the products because of its antioxidant properties that it has on the skin (it nourishes the skin, helps retain moisture in the skin or reduces water loss, helps with cell renewal and increases the elasticity of the skin), and at the same time it also acts as an antioxidant for all plant-based oils in the product. It is therefore a cosmetically active ingredient that focuses on antioxidant and restorative functions, which is consistent with the purpose of caring for mature and dry skin.
  • CO2 extract of rosemary – it is an extract made by supercritical extraction with carbon dioxide. In addition to having excellent antioxidant properties, it has both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties as well as rejuvenating properties. In the product, it helps to increase the antioxidant properties and prevents the burning of oils.
  • Essential oils of lemon, lyceum, geranium, lavender, immortelle, ho-wood and vetiver are suitable for renewing the skin and bringing balance to body and mind.

Rejuvenating body oil Balance is my “rock” when I’m most “at sea”. When I realise that I need to make a change. That’s when it’s my go-to tool. It feels me, it listens to me. Essential oils in it communicate with me on a level that is on a different level. It may seem that it takes place in the background but it’s actually in the foreground.

I would recommend Balance body oil most to those of us who feel like we’re two sides of the same coin.  On the one side, where we may be seen as scatterbrained to the outside and on the flip side, where we have a really strong vision of how we want to portray ourselves to the world. We’re not there yet. It’s for the most seriously organised :).

It is also for all of us who yearn for stability, peace, love in our hearts – that we can always return there and feel it. The smell of the oil makes me feel that everything is ok. The citrus scent mixed with boswellia takes me on a discovery of myself, on a spiritual path. I follow it. It takes me to his home. The smell alone puts me in a calm flow. In the feelings of lightness, carefreeness and, last but not least, love.

 

Alongside the body oil, use the labradorite crystal, which is a crystal of personal transformation. Which shows you what is possible for you. It narrows the gap between reality and the desire that burns within you. The crystal opens the petals still shy, until you blossom. You can also work with other crystals. Blue chalcedony brings you more reassurance at any given moment. Labradorite, on the other hand, is like a mirror to your soul.
