Floral Moisturising Serum is a hydrogel of light and absorbent texture that intensely moisturises and revitalises the skin. The basis of the serum is made of hydrosols obtained from the petals of Damascus rose, Immortelle and Roman chamomile. For an even more intense effect and aroma, the essential oils of these three flowers are added. For a deeply moisturising effect, NA hyaluronate of different molecular weights, Sodium PCA and glycerol from the acerola extract are included. Plant extracts of acerola, beech buds and ginkgo also provide additional antioxidant function. The complex synergy of moisturisers, plant extracts and Vitamin B3 increase skin elasticity and rejuvenate the skin.

Floral Moisturising Serum is intended as a foundation for the Moisturising Day Cream. Apply a few drops of the serum to the cleansed face and neck in the morning, before using the day cream. The serum makes the skin silky soft and moisturised. When combined with Moisturising Day Cream, it will keep the skin glowing all day long. The serum can also be used in the evenings in combination with the Vitamin Oil Serum.

  • Hydrosols of roses, Immortelle and Roman chamomile are suitable not only for mature skin, but also for dry and parched skin. The highest proportion is represented by rose hydrosol, which provides moisturising, nourishing and tonic function.
  • Hyaluronic Acid – For cosmetic purposes, hyaluronic acid is used in the form of sodium salt, which is water soluble. I have chosen a trio of hyaluronates (with low, high and oligo molecular weight) as they differ in properties and operation. Hyaluronate of high molecular weight forms a thin layer on the skin, leaving a light, non-greasy feeling. Because of its size, its effect lasts longer than with other moisturisers. It also has a greater capacity to retain water in the corneal layer of the skin but does not pass into the deeper layers of the skin. Due to its small molecules, the low-molecular-weight-hyaluronate penetrates deeper into the epidermis, which makes its moisturising function slightly more profound. Hyaluronates act as moisturising ingredients, primarily by forming a moisture-retaining film.
  • Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylate or short Sodium PCA is one of the most effective moisturising ingredients. It acts as a hygroscopic molecule with a low molecular weight that binds water. It is an integral part of the skin’s natural moisturising factor and also acts as an accelerator for the penetration of other cosmetically active ingredients.
  • Vitamin B3 or. Nicotinamide improves the surface structure of mature skin, reduces fine wrinkles and pigment spots, and increases elasticity of the skin. It also stimulates the formation of collagen, which is why the use of this vitamin in mature skin products makes even more sense.
  • The Acerola Extract is a glycerol extract of acerola fruit. Based on the effects of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), this extract works as an antioxidant, so it can be used to protect the skin from oxidative stress and to lighten the skin as well, since it inhibits melanin synthesis. Ascorbic acid is also involved in collagen synthesis, which means that acerola extract can also contribute to increased skin firmness. Due to the presence of glycerol, it also helps to keep the skin moisturised.
  • Beech Bud Extract is an extract that originates in gemmotherapy (bud and young plant therapy). Beech bud extract has a tonic function and is suitable for the care of tired and wilted skin. The extract also contains ascorbic acid and flavonoids, which act as antioxidants and protect the skin from oxidative stress. It also helps to keep the skin moisturised.
  • Ginkgo is a water-ethanolic extract of Ginkgo leaves. Ginkgo extract contains many flavonoids and can be used as antioxidant to protect the skin against oxidative stress. It revitalises, stimulates and firms the skin. Due to its tonic function it is suitable for the care of dry and wrinkled skin.
  • Essential Oils of Immortelle, Roman chamomile and roses support the function and scent of hydrosols. All essential oils are intended for the care of dry and mature skin.
