Description

Vitamin oil serum is the perfect way to end your evening skincare routine.

It contains a rich, velvety blend of natural oils that are fast-absorbing and do not leave a greasy feel on the skin.

In addition to marula and argan oils, regenerative rosehip, cranberry, pomegranate and sea buckthorn oils are also included, together providing both skin renewal and antioxidant activity. Furthermore, antioxidants vitamin E, vitamin A and rosemary extract are added. Vitamin A also stimulates the production of collagen and consequently reduces wrinkles. Essential oils included ensure intensive renewal of mature skin. Together with natural oils they all give the serum a pleasant fruity-nutty scent, which blends beautifully with the gentle vibration of balsamic boswellia. This effect calms the skin in the evening and prepares it for a night’s rest. The serum is a true treasure trove of nature, with thoughtfully selected essential oils giving the serum even more of a luxurious, rich feel.

The Vitamin Oil Serum is intended for intensive night care and skin regeneration. Use it on damp skin by putting a few drops of the serum on your fingertips and massage them gently into your skin. In the morning, your skin will feel silky soft, nourished and ready for a new day.

  • Marula Oil – Marula is a tall African tree. Its fruits contain the seeds from which the oil is extracted. It is a stable oil with high content of oleic acid. It also contains many phytosterols and vitamin E. Traditionally it is used for the care of dry and cracked skin and is also ideal for the care of mature skin. As an emollient, it decreases transepidermal water loss and reduces the redness of the skin, resulting in increased skin moisture.
  • Argan Oil – Argan is a tree from the southwestern areas of Morocco. Argan oil is obtained from the seeds of its fruit. It is an excellent rejuvenating oil, rich in oleic and linoleic acid as well as in vitamin E, phytosterol compounds and squalene. It is very suitable for the care of dry skin, as it quickly absorbs into the skin and improves its moisture.
  • Squalane is an herbal substance derived from olive oil. It absorbs perfectly into the skin and, as an occlusive, helps maintain skin’s moisture. It makes the skin soft, leaving a pleasant silky feeling.
  • American Cranberry Oil – American Cranberry is a low shrub from North America. Cranberry seeds contain oil with a significant content of alpha-linolenic and linoleic acid, crediting it with anti-inflammatory and regenerative function. It also has high levels of vitamin E and phytosterols, which are known for their antioxidant activity. This oil gives the skin a velvety and a non-greasy feeling. The mild and fruity scent is also very pleasant. This oil is used for the care of dry, sensitive, inflamed or mature skin. It is a light and fast absorbent oil.
  • Rosehip Oil, because this oil has a high content of linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, it is classified as active oil, which is used for skin regeneration. It is considered to be one of the best choices for the care of inflamed and acne skin, as well as for the reduction of wrinkles of mature skin or for skin with pigment spots. Rosehip oil is emollient and absorbs quickly.
  • Pomegranate Oil – Delicious yellow-red pomegranate fruits have plenty of seeds from which pomegranate oil is extracted. Due to its regenerative effect, it is a very good choice for the care of mature skin. The oil has antioxidant, photoprotective and anti-inflammatory properties and accelerates the repair of skin, damaged by ultraviolet radiation. I opted for a CO2 extract, because this is a more concentrated version.
  • Sea Buckthorn Oil – Sea buckthorn is a shrub with egg-shaped orange fruits. I used the oil in the form of a CO2 extract from the pericarp of the plant. Since it is exceptionally high in beta-carotene, this oil is characterised by an intense orange and yellow colour and has a distinct fruity scent. This oil is credited for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and regenerative function. The use of this oil is especially recommended for the care of mature skin that is often exposed to sunlight, as it is believed to promote cell and skin renewal.
  • Vitamin E – is a natural tocopherol that is obtained through an isolating process from natural oils. I added vitamin E to the products because of its great antioxidant properties on the skin (it nourishes the skin, helps to retain moisture in the skin, reduces water loss, promotes cellular regeneration and increases skin elasticity). At the same time, vitamin E also acts as an antioxidant for all natural oils in the product. It is a cosmetically active ingredient that focuses on antioxidant and restorative functions, which is also the purpose of nourishing mature and dry skin.
  • Vitamin A is a strong antioxidant and active substance that helps increase the production of collagen in the skin and so consequently reduces wrinkles. It also helps to improve skin’s elasticity and so maintain a youthful appearance.
  • Rosemary CO2 Extract – This is an extract made by supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. In addition to its excellent antioxidant properties, it has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, as well as rejuvenating properties. It helps to increase antioxidant properties of the product and prevents the oil from going rancid.
  • Essential Oils of Immortelle, oranges, palmarosa and boswellia have regenerative function and are suitable for mature skin.
